고등학생들의 해외 어학 연수 프로그램 참여가 영어 학습 성취도와 영어 학습 지속에 미치는 영향

A study on the influence of Korean high school students’ study-abroad experience on their English achievement and the continuation of their English learning

The purpose of the present study is to examine the influence of Korean high school students’ experience of English study-abroad programs on their English learning achievement and the continuation of their English learning. Survey questionnaires were distributed in June, 2019 to a total of 208 Korean high school students in 2 high schools and were collected. Multiple regression was used for data analysis. Results show that the students’ experience of the English study-abroad program does not have a statistically significant relationship with their English learning achievement. But the student experience has a statistically significant relationship with their continuation of English learning, accounting for students’ daily English study hour and English learning motivation.
