The Panel Data Analysis about Determinants of CEO Turnover and Management Performance Change of Korean Agricultural Co-operatives

본 연구는 2015년 3월의 전국동시 조합장 선거 전후인 2013년부터 2017년까지 조합의 경영지표와 조합장 선거와의 관련성을 연구하였다. 입지유형별로 연임 여부에 대한 교차분석에서 농촌형에서 교체가 더 많이 이루어졌다(p=0.057). 또한 입지유형별로 연임과 교체에 영향을 주는 독립변수들을 알기 위하여 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 농촌형에서는 영업비용이 높을수록 영업수익이 낮을수록 연임될 가능성이 높게 나타났으며, 도시형에서는 ROE(return on equity)가 높을수록 연임될 확률이 높았다. 그리고 2013년과 2014년 값을 공변량으로 공분산분석(analysis of covariance) 결과 2015년, 2016년, 그리고 2017년의 로그자산, 영업비용, 영업수익, 그리고 당기순이익은 입지유형별로 차이가 있었으며, ROE는 차이가 없음이 나타났다. 그리고 그 차이가 얼마나 변화를 나타내고 있는지를 알기 위하여 반복측정분산분석(repeated measures ANOVA) 결과 모든 변수가 Mauchly의 구형성을 만족하지 못하였고, 년도에 따라 추세 변화가 통계적으로 유의한 지를 검정한 결과 모든 변수에서 유의한 차이가 있었고 교호작용 또한 존재하여 연도별로 그 차이가 같지 않음을 알 수 있었다.

This study investigates the relationship between a management index and the election of CEOs at local agricultural co-operatives from 2013 to 2017 which was before and after the national election held on March 11, 2015. In particular, there was a slight significant association between location type and CEO turnover by crosstab analysis. Also, increased operating expense and decreased operating revenue were related to CEO turnover in rural and increased ROE was associated with an increase in serving consecutive terms in urban areas. There was a significant difference for assets, operating expenses, operating revenue, and net income according to location type in 2015, 2016, and 2017 by analysis for covariance, considering 2013 and 2014 as covariates, however, there were no significant results for ROE. Furthermore, every variable did not reach Mauchly’s sphericity through repeated measure analysis in order to examine the degree of differences. There was statistical significance for every variable after the analysis of trend alteration by years, and the degree of significance was different by years and interactions were found between variables.
