간호대학 신입생의 학교생활 적응 영향 요인

Factors Affecting School Life Adjustment of Freshmen in Nursing Department

본 연구는 간호대학 신입생의 감사 성향, 주관적 행복감, 학교생활 적응 정도를 파악하고, 학교생활 적응에 영향 미치는 요인을 확인하여 간호대학 신입생의 학교적응에 도움을 주고자 시도하였다. D 광역시와 G 광역시에 위치한 2개 대학의 간호학과 1학년 학생을 대상으로 2017년 12월 1일부터 12월 15일까지 자료 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 프로그램 21.0을 사용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson 상관계수, 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 일반적 특성에 따른 학교생활 적응의 차이는 전공 만족도에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다. 학교 생활적응은 감사성향(r=.428, p<.001)과 주관적 행복감(r=.538, p<.001)과 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 학교생활 적응에 영향을 미치는 요인은 주관적 행복감(β=.354, p<.001), 전공 만족도(β=.314, p<.001)와 감사성향(β=.192, p=.004)으로 나타났으며, 학교생활 적응에 대한 이들 변인의 설명력은 44.3%로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 간호대학 신입생의 학교생활 적응을 향상시키기 위해서는 주관적 행복감과 감사성향 증진을 위한 프로그램 개발이 필요할 것으로 생각한다.

This study was a descriptive research study to identify the influencing factors on school life adjustment in freshmen nursing department. Data were collected from nursing students in two different universities in D and G metropolitan city. The data collection period was from December 1 to December 8, 2017. The analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, Scheffe test, Pearson s correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression analysis using SPSS/WIN 21.0. School life adjustment of the participants showed statistical differences according to satisfaction in major. School life adjustment was positively correlated with gratitude (r=.428, p<.001) and subjective happiness (r=.538, p<.001). The factors affecting school life adjustment were the needs for subjective happiness (β=.354, p<.001), satisfaction in major (β=.314, p<.001) and gratitude (β=.192, p=.004) explaining 44.3% of the total variance of school life adjustment. Therefore, to increase school life adjustment in student nurses, it is necessary to develop program promoting subjective happiness and gratitude.
