병원 내 이송요원의 개인보호구 착용 이행 영향요인

Factors Influencing Compliance on Personal Protect Equipment in In-patient Transfer Staffs

본 연구의 목적은 병원 내 이송요원의 개인보호구 착용 지식, 태도, 이행 및 안전 환경 정도를 알아보고 이송요원의 개인보호구 착용 이행에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 시행되었다. 연구대상은 서울, 경기도에 소재하는 3개의 의료기관에서 근무하는 이송요원 182명이며, 자료 수집은 2018년 11월 1일부터 12월 30일까지 시행되었다. 수집된 자료는 서술적 통계, t-검정(t-test) 및 분산분석(ANOVA), Pearson 상관계수(correlation coefficient), 다중회귀(multiple regression)로 분석하였다. 연구결과 개인보호구 착용 지식은 평균 17.68(SD=1.83)점, 감염관리 수행에 대한 태도는 평균 6.29점(SD=1.25), 개인보호구 착용 이행은 평균 69.71점(SD=8.78), 안전 환경에 대한 인식은 평균 5.76점(SD=1.53)으로 나타났다. 대상자의 개인보호구 착용 이행도는 개인보호구 착용 지식(r=.306, p<.000), 안전 환경(r=.306, p<.000)과 유의한 상관관계가 있었다. 개인보호구 착용 이행은 기혼인 경우(β=.152, p=.030), 지식이 높을수록(β=.255, p<.001), 안전한 환경으로 인식할수록(β=.237, p=.001) 높았고, 개인보호구 착용 이행에 대한 회귀모형의 설명력은 17.1%였다. 이송요원의 개인보호구 착용 이행도를 높일 수 있도록 이송요원을 대상으로 차별화된 이론 교육과 함께 반복적이고 효과적인 실습 훈련이 요구된다. 또한 안전한 환경을 조성하기 위한 기관의 인적, 물리적, 교육적 지원이 뒷받침되어야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between the level of knowledge, attitude, compliance on personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety environment among in-patient transfer staffs in the hospital. Participants consisted of 192 in-patient transfer staffs in 3 general hospitals. Data were collected from November 1 to December 30, 2018. Data were analyzed using multiple regression with the SPSS/WIN 23.0 program. The mean score of knowledge, attitude, compliance of PPE and safety environment were 17.68±1.83, 6.29±1.25, 69.71±8.78, 5.76±1.53, respectively. There were statistically significant positive correlation between compliance of PPE and knowledge, safety environment. Factors influencing compliance on personal protective equipment were marital status, knowledge and safety environment that explained about 17.1% of the variance. To increase compliance with personal protective equipment among in-patient transfer staffs, it is necessary to provide continuous educational programs and effective practical training. It should also be supported by the institutional support to enhance safe environment.
