기본간호학 실습교육에서 간호학생의 학습유형에 따른 성찰일지 작성이 학업적 자기효능감과 학습태도에 미치는 효과

Effects of Reflective Journal Writing According to Learning Style of Nursing Students in Fundamental Nursing Skills Course

본 연구는 기본간호학 실습교육에서 간호학생의 학습유형에 따른 성찰일지의 작성이 학업적 자기효능감과 학습태도에 미치는 효과를 파악하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구대상자는 S시 소재 일개 전문대학 간호학과 2학년 학생 중 ‘기본간호학실습’을 수강중인 55명이었으며, 대상자들이 학습유형별로 성찰일지를 작성하기 전과 후의 학업적 자기효능감과 학습태도의 차이와 학습유형별 성찰일지 작성에 따른 두 변수의 차이를 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 사용하여 기술통계와 카이제곱검정 및 Fisher 정확검정, 그리고 Wilcoxon 부호순위검정, Pearson 상관관계계수, Kruskal-Wallis 검정, Mann-Whitney U 검정으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 대상자들의 학습유형은 동화형이 38.2%로 가장 많았으며, 성찰일지 작성 전ㆍ후 학습유형별 학업적 자기효능감과 학습태도는 통계적인 차이가 없었으나, 학습태도의 하위요인인 ‘교과에 대한 자아개념’ 요인에서 적용형 학습유형이 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다(z=-2.98, p=.003). 또한 학습유형별 성찰일지 작성에 따라 학업적 자기효능감의 하위요인인 ‘자신감(chi-square=8.20, p=.042)’과 학습태도(chi-square=9.13, p=.028) 및 그 하위요인인 ‘교과에 대한 자아개념(chi-square=10.63, p=.014)’ 요인에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 이에 기본간호학 실습교육에서 성찰일지를 활용할 때, 간호학생의 학습유형을 고려한 학습설계를 구상할 것을 제안한다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze effects of reflective journals according to learning style of 55 nursing students taking the fundamental nursing skills course at one college in the S city. The course was offered from March 20 to June 5, 2019. Data were collected using pre and post tests after the intervention. Data were analyzed using chi-square test, Fisher s exact test, Wilcoxon signed rank test, Kruskal-Wallis test, Mann-Whitney U test with SPSS Statistics version 20.0. The largest number of learning style among participants was assimilator. There was no statistically significant difference in academic self-efficacy and learning attitude between pre and post writing of reflective journals. But accommodator of learning style showed statistically significant differences in learning attitude and its sub factor, self concept of the subject. There were statistically significant differences in academic self-efficacy’s sub factor, confidence and learning attitude and its sub factor, self concept of the subject according to reflective writing by learning style of participants. When utilizing the reflective journal in fundamental nursing skills course, it is proposed that the teaching-learning strategy take into account the learning style of nursing students.
