간호학생을 위한 교육용 감염관리 스마트폰 애플리케이션의 효과

Effect of a Mobile-based Education Program for Nursing Students on Infection Control Prevention

본 연구는 간호학생을 위한 감염관리 교육프로그램을 모바일 기반 애플리케이션으로 개발하여 간호학생들이 감염에 대한 지식, 태도, 교육만족도에 대한 효과를 검증하고자 시도되었다. 애플리케이션 개발은 ADDIE(analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation) 모델을 기반으로 하였으며, 효과 검증을 위한 연구설계는 비동등성 대조군 전후 시차 설계이다. 연구 대상자는 J시에 위치한 간호대학 3학년 학생 60명이며, 실험군에게는 모바일 기반 감염관리 애플리케이션 교육프로그램을 4주간 제공하였고, 대조군은 기존의 교육방식을 적용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test로 분석하였다. 연구결과 모바일 기반 감염관리 교육프로그램을 제공받은 실험군은 기존의 교육방법을 받은 대조군에 비해 감염에 대한 지식(t=-10.317, p<.001)과 태도(t=2.626, p=.005)점수에 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 교육 만족도는 실험군에서 높게 나타나 두 군간에는 유의한 차이가 있었다(t=3.738, p<.001). 따라서 간호학생의 감염관리 지식과 감염관리 행위를 향상시키기 위해 본 연구의 애플리케이션은 추후 감염관리 교육과 관련된 프로그램 개발에 중요한 근거자료를 제공해 줄 수 있을 것으로 여겨진다.

The purpose of this research was to evaluate the knowledge and attitudes for infection prevention and the satisfaction for education. The research design was nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. This study involved a random assignment of subjects to experimental and control group, and administration of the pretest and the posttest to all subjects in both groups separately. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, t-test with the IBM SPSS 25.0. The smartphone-based education group demonstrated significantly better knowledge (t=-10.317, p<.001) and attitude score than participants in the control group (t=-2.626, p=.005). And the scores on satisfaction was showed significantly differences between two groups (t=3.738, p<.001). This study suggests that smartphone-based education may be an effective method to use in nursing education. Thus, more advanced smartphone based education programs related with prevention and control management of hospital infection for nursing students will be developed in terms of providing evidence-based practices.
