대학 비교과 프로그램에 대한 평가 인증 지표 설계 연구

Study on the Design of Accreditation Indicators for Extracurricular Programs in Universities

본 연구는 대학 내에서 운영되고 있는 비교과 프로그램의 질 관리와 대학교육기관의 경쟁력 제고를 위해 비교과 프로그램 인증(accreditation) 지표를 설계하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 문헌연구와 2회의 내부 검토, 1회의 내·외부 전문가 검토를 거쳐 비교과 프로그램 인증 지표를 마련하였다. 최종 인증 지표는 5개 영역, 9개의 세부기준, 18개의 평가 문항으로 구성되었으며, 5개 영역에는 프로그램 목표, 프로그램 구성, 프로그램 운영, 프로그램 평가 및 활용, 프로그램 성과 영역이 포함되었다. 본 비교과 프로그램 인증지표 연구 결과는 비교과 프로그램을 운영하고 있는 대학 혹은 교육기관에서 비교과 프로그램 질 관리 표준안으로 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다. 또한 비교과 프로그램 인증제 운영을 위한 관련 부서 전담 부서 설치, 비교과 프로그램이 지속적으로 운영될 수 있도록 대학 내 정책 마련, 비교과 인증제 시행 전 워크숍 및 교육, 컨설팅 등의 필요성을 제언으로 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to design accreditation indicators for extracurricular programs in order to manage the quality of extracurricular programs operating in universities and raise the competitiveness of educational institutions. To this end, this study prepared accreditation indicators for extracurricular programs by conducting a literature study as well as two rounds of insider review and a round of review by internal and external experts. Final accreditation indicators of this study consist of five areas, nine detailed criteria, and 18 assessment questions. The five areas include program goals, program structure, program operation, program evaluation and use, and program performance. It is expected that the result of this study will be used as a draft standard for the quality management of extracurricular programs in universities or educational institutions that run extracurricular programs. It is also suggested that a body in charge of departments related to operation of the accreditation system for extracurricular programs be established; that a policy be prepared in universities for the sustainable operation of extracurricular programs; and that workshops, education and consulting are needed before implementing the accreditation system.
