리얼리즘 소설을 활용한 한국어 학습자의 한국 문화교육 연구

A Study on the Korean Culture Education of Korean Learners Using Realism novel: Focused on Wuhwangchungshimhwan

본 연구는 리얼리즘 소설을 활용하여 한국어 학습자의 한국 문화교육을 위한 교육을 설계하는 것에 목적이 있다. 이 과정에서 지금까지 한국어교육에서 지속적으로 이루어지고 있기는 하지만 깊이 있게 논의되지 못하고 있는 한국어교육에서의 문학교육의 의의를 밝혔다. 또한 선행 연구를 바탕으로 하여 한국어교육 영역으로서의 문화교육의 구성 요소를 설정하였다. 한국 문화교육의 요소를 언어 문화, 문화 지식, 문화 관점으로 나누어 살피고, 이 요소들이 반영된 박완서의 소설 ｢우황청심환｣에서 구체적 내용을 확인하였으며, 이에 대한 교육 방안을 설계하였다. 리얼리즘 소설은 현실의 재현을 중시하며 전형적 환경과 인물을 통해 현실을 재현하는 장르이기 때문에 한국어 학습자들에게 한국의 문화를 확인하게 하는 중요한 자료가 될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 단편적인 지식 위주의 한국 문화에 대한 인식이 아니라 보다 깊이 있게 한국어 학습자들이 한국 문화를 다양한 관점에서 체험할 수 있도록 하기 위해서 리얼리즘 소설 ｢우황청심환｣을 통해 실제 교수 · 학습 상황에서의 교육을 설계하는 것에 초점을 두었다.

The main purpose of this study is to design Korean language learners education for Korean culture by utilizing realism novel. This paper revealed the significance of the education of literature in Korean language education, which has been continuously conducted until now in Korean language education but has not been discussed in depth. In addition, the elements of cultural education as an area of Korean language education were established based on prior research. The elements of Korean cultural education were divided into language culture, culture knowledge, and cultural perspectives, and the details were confirmed in Park Wan-seo s novel, Wuhwangchungshimhwan , which reflects these elements, and education plans were designed. Realism novels can be an important source of confirmation for Korean language learners as they are genres that value the reenactment of reality and reproduce reality through typical environments and characters. The focus of this study was not on the perception of Korean culture based on fragmentary knowledge, but rather on designing education in real teaching situations through the realism novel Wuhwangchungshimhwan to allow Korean language learners to experience Korean culture more deeply from various perspectives.
