전후 복구 시기 동독의 북한 원조

East Germany’s aid to North Korea during the post-war recovery period

본 연구는 다국 사료 교차 비교 분석(multi-archival comparative research)을 통해 한국전쟁 후 동독의 북한에 대한 원조를 재구성하였다. 본 연구의 시간적 범위는 1954년부터 1961년까지로 중소 분쟁 시기를 포함한다. 전후 복구 시기 동독의 북한에 대한 원조는 소련, 중국 다음으로 많았지만 중소와 비교하면 규모면에서 큰 편은 아니었다. 하지만 원조의 대부분이 전후에 집중되었기 때문에 북한이 전후 국가를 재건하는데 도움을 주었다. 동독이 도움을 준 북한의 재건 과정은 사회주의 진영의 노동 분업의 결과였다. 동독의 대북 원조는 냉전 초기와 중소 분쟁 이전에는 프롤레타리아 국제주의에 기반한 원조였다고 분석할 수 있다.

This study examined East Germany’s aid to North Korea by multi-archival comparative research. The temporal scope of the study ranged from 1954 to 1961, including the period of the Sino-Soviet split. Although aid to North Korea from East Germany was not large in size compared to that from the Soviet Union and China, it was vital in rebuilding the state. Because it was concentrated during the post-war recovery period. The process of North Korea s reconstruction, which East Germany helped, can be analyzed as a result of the division of labor in the socialist bloc. Before the Sino-Soviet dispute, there was a strong ideological aspect of the proletarian internationalism in regards to the aid sent from East Germany.
