한국어판 치매에 대한 태도 측정도구의 타당도와 신뢰도

Validity and Reliability of the Dementia Attitude Scale-Korean Version

본 연구의 목적은 한국어판 치매에 대한 태도 측정도구(DAS-K, the dementia attitudes scale -Korean version)의 타당도와 신뢰도를 평가하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 세계보건기구가 제시한 도구 번역절차에 따라 원 도구를 번역, 역번역과정을 수행하였다. 요양병원 3곳과 요양시설 1곳의 간호사, 간호조무사, 요양보호사와 2개 대학의 간호대학생(n=438)의 자료가 분석에 사용되었다. 자료 분석을 위해 SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하였고, 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석을 이용한 구성타당도와 내적 일관성, 검사-재검사를 통한 안정성 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 20문항의 4개 요인으로 구성된 DAS-K를 확인적 요인분석을 통해 분석한 결과, 4개 요인(‘치매대상자에 대한 이해’, ‘인간중심돌봄에 대한 의지’, ‘사회적 불편감’, ‘사회적 편안함’)에 대한 적합성이 좋은 것으로 나타났으며, 요인-문항간 수렴타당도와 판별타당도가 확보되었다. DAS-K의 신뢰도 검증에서 20문항의 Cronbach’s alpha 0.846, 4개 하위 요인들의 Cronbach’s alpha .779-.836으로 내적 일관성과 안정성이 확인되었다. 본 연구결과는 DAS-K가 국내에서 치매에 대한 태도를 측정하는데 적절한 도구임을 보여준다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the validity and reliability of the dementia attitudes scale - Korean version (DAS-K). The original DAS was translated into Korean with forward and back translation according to the process of translation and adaptation of instrument by the World Health Organization. Survey data were collected from 438 nurses, nurse aids, licensed caregivers who worked in the 3 long-term care hospitals and 1 nursing home and nursing students of 2 universities. Construct validity using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis and internal consistency reliability were conducted. SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 23.0 programs were used for data analysis. The exploratory factor analysis revealed 4 factors for the 20 items. Confirmatory factor analysis supported good convergent 4-factor structure consisting of ‘understanding people with dementia’, ‘willingness to do person-centered care’ ‘social discomfort’, ‘social comfortableness’. DAS-K showed reliable internal consistency with a Cronbach’s alpha for the overall scale was .846 and for the 4 subscales ranged from .779 to .836. The findings demonstrate that DAS-K is an appropriate instrument to measure attitude toward people with dementia in Korea.
