‘국풍81’과 ‘박근혜 퇴진 촛불집회’의 실현요소에 나타난 유사성과 대립성

Similarities and Differences in the Realization Elements between “Gookpung81” and “Candlelight Protests for Park Geun-hye’s Resignation”

이 논의의 핵심은 국풍81과 박근혜 퇴진 촛불집회의 실현요소들을 비교분석하는 것이다. 구체적으로는 두 메가이벤트의 표면적 실현요소의 내용에 나타난 ‘유사성’, 이면적 실현요소의 내용에 나타난 ‘대립성’을 파악하는 작업이다. 파악된 결과를 다음과 같이 요약한다. 먼저, 두 메가이벤트의 표면적 실현요소는 비전, 규모와 형식, 문화콘텐츠의 유형구조, 세부행사 등 4개 요소의 내용에 유사성이 나타났다. 그리고 이면적 실현요소는 숨은 의도, 결정방식, 주도방식, 문화콘텐츠의 기능, 군중의 특징, 이념, 언론태도 등 7개 요소의 내용에서 대립성이 나타났다. 여기서 두 메가이벤트의 이면적 실현요소별 내용의 대립양상은 국풍81의 실패와 촛불집회의 성공에 대한 세부요인을 체계적으로 말해준다.

The core of this discussion was to compare and analyze the realization elements between Gookpung81 and the candlelight protests for Park Geun-hye’s resignation. Specifically, this study identified “similarities” in the content of superficial realization elements and “differences” in the content of hidden realization elements between the two mega-events. The findings were summarized as follows. First, there were four superficial realization elements between the two mega-events: vision, size and form, categorical structure of cultural contents, and detail event. Between these events, there were similarities in their content. The hidden realization elements included seven aspects: hidden intention, method of determination, method to lead, function of cultural contents, characteristic of crowd, ideology, and attitude of the press. Between these events, there were differences in their content. The contrasting patterns of content by the hidden realization element provided profound and systematic information about the factors behind the failure of Gookpung81 and the success of the candlelight protests.
