한류 관련 역사콘텐츠 개발을 위한 역사 자료 활용 방안 연구

한류 현상은 아시아를 중심으로 시작해서 현재는 미주와 유럽까지 영향을 미치고 있다. 초기 한류 현상의 중심이 되었던 것은 드라마였다. 특히 <대장금>과 같은 역사 소재 드라마가 한국인은 물론 많은 외국인들의 관심을 받았다. 이는 역사와 관련된 소재의 드라마도 한류 현상의 중심이 될 수 있다는 점을 보여준다. 한국사 자료는 전문적 특성 때문에 역사학자나 관련 분야 전문가를 제외한 사람들의 이용 폭이 제한되어 있다. 그렇다면 역사에 관심을 가지고 있는 일반 대중들이 한국사 자료를 보다 쉽게 접하고 활용할 수 있는 환경을 만들기 위해 고민할 필요가 있다. 이러한 작업이 가능하다면 역사콘텐츠를 활용해 한류 확산을 위한 문화플랫폼을 만드는 것은 물론 스토리산업을 활성화하는 계기도 마련할 수 있을 것이다. 한국이 다양한 문화콘텐츠를 개발하고 이를 통해 소위 ‘한류 현상’을 확대하고 싶다면, 가장 중요한 것은 다양한 문화 활동과 제작 활동을 할 수 있는 기초 체제를 확립하는 것이다. 기초 환경이 충분히 갖추어 진다면 정부에서 요구하지 않더라도 자연스럽게 국내외 사람들에게 관심 받는 콘텐츠들이 생산될 수 있을 것이다. 이는 역사콘텐츠 개발에서도 마찬가지이다. 다양한 역사콘텐츠를 개발하기 위해서는 관련된 소재를 콘텐츠 제작자들이 보다 자유롭게 접근할 수 있는 환경이 필요하다. 그리고 역사 관련 콘텐츠를 개발하기 위한 기초 환경을 조성하는 작업에서 가장 먼저 준비해야 할 것이 바로 역사 자료의 활용 방안 확대이다.

The Korean Wave phenomenon started in Asia, and now affects the Americas and Europe. It was drama that became the center of the early Korean wave phenomenon. This shows that drama of history related material can be the center of Korean wave phenomenon at any time. Due to its professional nature, Korean history materials have limited use by historians and others except experts in related fields. The purpose of establishing archives on Korean history data is to broaden the use of archiving and public data. Therefore, it is necessary to think about ways to create an environment where the general public interested in history can easily access and utilize Korean history data. If this work is possible, it will be possible to create a cultural platform for spreading the Korean Wave by utilizing historical contents and also to stimulate the story industry. If Korea wants to develop various cultural contents and expand the so-called ‘Korean Wave phenomenon’ through it, the most important thing is to establish a basic system for various cultural activities and production activities. If the environment for creating new cultural contents is sufficient, contents that are naturally attracted to domestic and foreign people even if not required by the central government will be produced. This is also true of historical content development. In order to develop various historical contents, it is necessary to create an environment in which content creators can freely access related materials. And the first thing to prepare for creating a basic environment for developing contents related to history is to expand the utilization of historical data.
