Urban Waste Management in China: Classification and Countermeasures

The speed of domestic urbanization, which has led to lots of urban disease, is increasingly improving with the development of economy. One of these problems is the management of municipal solid waste. This problem has become a social and environmental problem which troubles the development of cities, the ecological environment and the quality of people’s life. Therefore, it is of positive significance to promote the sustainable development of the economy, society, population, resources and environment by doing a good job in the classification and recycling of urban garbage. This paper based on the present situation of the application of municipal solid waste classification treatment technology, the definition and significance of municipal solid waste classification treatment are introduced first, and then the application of municipal solid waste treatment technology is expounded. Finally, the optimization strategy of municipal solid waste classification treatment is judged according to the above content. It also hopes to make quick classification of urban solid waste and make new contributions to beautify the city.
