Purpose–The purpose of this study focuses on the effect of the architectural service scape on revisiting welfare facilities and on whether perceived usefulness and service convenience play a mediating role. Design/methodology/approach–This study collected survey data From September 1 to September 12, 2019, a survey was conducted with consumers using welfare facilities, and a total of 231 of questionnaires were used in the research. The collected data have been verified by the statistical package Program R. Findings–As a result, the architectural service scape was found to have great influence on revisit intention. Perceived usefulness was found to play a mediating role, but service convenience did not play a role. Research implications or Originality–Based on the results, it was possible to draw academic implications that welfare facilities need to be viewed from the perspective of architectural environment design, not just from the administrative and management perspectives. In addition, such an academic approach may enable the government to develop practical measures to boost welfare facilities.
