초심상담자의 상담 수행능력 자기평가 요인 탐색

An Exploration of the Factors in Self-Evaluation of Counseling ability of Novice Counselors

본 연구의 목적은 초심상담자의 상담 수행능력을 스스로 평가하기 위한 요인을 탐색하여 향후 척도 개발의 기초를 마련하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 우선, 문헌연구 및 기초 조사를 통해 59개의 예비문항을 구성하였다. 다음으로 전문가 검토를 통해 부적절한 7문항을 삭제하고 42문항을 수정하여 총 52문항을 선정하였다. 마지막으로 문항 양호도 분석을 통해 1문항을 삭제한 후, 초심상담자 113？m을 대상으로 탐색적 요인분석을 실시한 결과 최종 5요인 28문항이 예비문항으로 확정되었다. 각 구성요인은 ‘사례개념화 능력‘, ‘상담자와 내담자에 대한 알아차림 능력’, ‘상담대화기술 능력’, ‘상담자 자신의 불안관리 능력’, ’개인화 능력’으로 분류되었다. 본 연구에서는 상담자 스스로 상담 수행능력을 평가할 수 있는 도구의 중요성을 강조하고 다른 발달단계에 있는 상담자들과는 차별화된 초심상담자의 특성을 반영한 준거개념과 문항을 도출해냈다는 데 의의가 있다. 또한 본 연구는 향후 타당화 과정을 거쳐 초심상담자가 상담자로서 자신의 부족한 부분과 보완할 점 등을 스스로 점검하고 평가할 수 있는 도구를 개발하는 데 유용한 기초자료로 활용될 것이다. 아울러 상담수련생이나 초심상담자를 대상으로 한 교육 및 수퍼비전 시, 본 연구에서 도출해낸 요인들이 참고자료로 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the factors for self-evaluation of counseling ability of novice counselors and to establish the basis for the development of the scale associated with it. For this purpose, First, this study conducted a literature review and basic research, and made up 59 preliminary items. Next, this study removed 7 preliminary items through expert review and revised 42 preliminary items to select a total of 52 preliminary items. Then, 42 preliminary items were revised, and to select a total of 52 preliminary items. Lastly, this study deleted 1 item by analyzing item goodness. Then, this study conducted an online and offline questionnaire for 113 novice counselors and conducted exploratory factor analysis with the data. As a result, in this study, 5 sub-factors and 28 items were finalized as preliminary items. The sub-factors of this study consisted of case conceptualization ability , awareness ability of counselor and client , counseling communication skills , counselor s own anxiety management ability , personalization ability . This study emphasized the importance of the scales by which counselors can evaluate their counseling ability. And this study is meaningful in that it derives the reference concepts and items that reflect the characteristics of the counselors who are different from the counselors in the different stages of development. In addition, this study will be used as a basic data that can be used to develop the scales through which the novice counselor can check and evaluate their own shortcomings and supplements through the validation process. Furthermore, the researcher expects that the factors derived from this study can be used as a reference when training and supervise counseling trainees or novice counselors.
