아동기 문제행동의 발달과정 탐색 연구

An Analysis of the Developmental Changes on Children’s Emotional and Behavioral Problems

본 연구는 육아정책연구소의 한국아동패널 8차와 10차 자료를 이용하여 초등학교 1학년(7세), 3학년(9세) 아동의 문제행동 발달과정을 살펴보았다. 본 연구에서 분석한 자료의 대상 수는 7세 1,577명, 9세 1,461명이다. 아동의 문제행동은 Achenbach와 Rescorla(2001)의 CBCL 6-18을 오경자와 김영아(2010)가 표준화한 한국판을 사용하여 측정하였다. 연구문제를 검증하기 위해 IBM SPSS 24 프로그램을 사용하여, 아동의 성별에 따라 7세, 9세 시점에서의 문제행동 변화를 일반선형모형 반복측정 분산분석을 통해 탐색하였다. 연구 결과, 아동의 연령이 증가함에 따라 문제행동은 감소하였으며, 하위요인 중 내재화 문제, 외현화 문제, 사회적 미성숙 문제, 주의집중 문제가 감소하였다. 또한, 연령과 성별 간의 상호작용 효과는 사회적 미성숙 문제에서만 유의하고, 그 외는 유의하지 않았다. 본 연구의 결과는 유아기에서부터 아동기의 문제행동 발달과정을 연계하여 이해하고, 이를 바탕으로 문제행동을 예방하기 위한 다양한 방안을 수립하는 데 도움을 주고자 한다.

This study was performed using the 8th and 10th Panel study on Korean children by Korea Institute of Child Care and Education. The purpose of this study was to find out the developmental changes in the emotional and behavioral problems of children aged 7 and 9. The subjects of this study were 1,577 7 year-olds, and 1,461 10 year-olds. Emotional and behavioral problems were measured using the Korean version(Oh & Kim, 2010) of CBCL 6-18(Achenbach & Rescorla, 2001). The data were analyzed using GLM Repeated Measures ANOVA. The results were as follows: First, children’s emotional and behavioral problems were decreased according to children’s ages. Second, the interaction effects between young children’s ages and genders in the emotional and behavioral problems were not significant. This study aids to understand developmental trends of the emotional and behavioral problems from early childhood to childhood, and to develop programs to prevent problems.
