근대 부산 조선산업의 전개양상과 실태분석

Analysis of the Development and Actual Conditions of the Modern Busan Shipbuilding Industry

本研究は釜山の影島の近代的な歴史的背景に基づき、日本人により影島地 域に構築された造船産業の実態分析をしたものである。分析方法として近代造船技術を確保した日本が国内造船産業及び水産資源を掌握及び支配する日本の帝国主義の実状を把握する。日本は戦略的に1883年に｢朝日通商章程｣をはじめ、様々な漁業条約を締結した。その結果、日本の漁業者が朝鮮に自由に進出し始め、移住漁村まで作り日本人を影島などに移住させ、漁労行為を強化し、水産物を独占·強奪した。これにより、日本の漁船修理および建造の必要性が生じ、影島に日本人造船所が設立されるなど、日本人のための造船産業が形成された。これらの造船所は、国内造船産業の発展に寄与したと見るよりは、韓国の伝統造船産業まで崩壊させるという悪影響を及ぼしたと捉えなければならない。また、朝鮮総督府の戦略として設立された造船重工業(株)も近代的な船舶を建造したが、日本人の監督の下で運営され、戦時計画造船の業務が行われたため、国内造船産業の発展に貢献した事実はなかったということを確認できた。 このような日本の政策により、韓国人が造船所に勤務したが、日本の近代的な造船技術の伝授を受けることができず、造船産業の近代化に必要な船舶の設計·建造·進水法も学ぶことができなかったと考えられる。

This study examines the background of the establishment of the shipbuilding industry in Yeongdo, Busan, and analyzes the progress and development of the shipbuilding industry to analyze the process of colonization of Joseon. After “朝日通商章程” in 1883, Japanese companies started to freely enter the country, and even established migrant fishing villages to move Japaneseto Yeongdo, strengthening fishing activities and monopolizing and robbing marine products. As a result, the Japanese shipyard was established in Yeongdodue to the necessity of fishing and construction of Japanese fishery, and the shipbuilding industry was formed for the Japanese. These shipyards had a bad effect of destroying the Korean traditional shipbuilding industry rather than having a good influence on the development of the domestic shipbuilding industry. In addition, as for “朝鮮重工業株式會社”, it was confirmed that nothing contributed to the development of the domestic shipbuilding industry. Because of this Japanese policy, Koreans worked in shipyards, but it is believed that they did not receive Japanese modern shipbuilding techniques and did not learn how to design, build, and launch ships necessary for modernizing the shipbuilding industry.
