고등학생의 봉사활동, 진로활동과 리더십 생활기술의 관계에서 공동체의식의 매개효과

Mediation Effects of Sense of Community in the Relationship among High School Students Volunteer Activity, Career Activity, and Leadership Life Skills

본 연구의 목적은 고등학생의 봉사활동과 진로활동이 공동체의식과 리더십생활기술에 미치는 영향요인을 확인하고, 봉사활동 및 진로활동과 리더십생활기술 간의 관계에서 공동체의식의 매개효과를 파악하고자 함이다. 이를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원의 2016년 3차년도 ‘청소년활동 참여 실태조사 연구(A Study on Korean Youth’s Participation in Hands-on Activities III)’ 자료에서 대도시지역 고등학생 1,339명을 대상으로 중다회귀분석, Baron과 Kennny의 매개효과분석법과 Sobel test를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고등학생의 봉사활동과 진로활동은 공동체의식에 유의한 영향을 끼치는 요인으로 밝혀졌다. 둘째, 고등학생의 봉사활동과 진로활동은 리더십생활기술에 영향을 끼치는 유의한 요인으로 나타났다. 셋째, 고등학생의 봉사활동 및 진로활동과 리더십생활기술 간의 관계에서 공동체의식의 매개효과가 검증되었다. 이를 통해 고등학생의 리더십생활기술을 함양하기 위해서는 봉사활동과 진로활동을 경험할 수 있는 다양한 기회를 제공하며 공동체의식을 형성하는 것이 필요하다.

This study aimed to concretely verify the mediating effect of the sense of community where high school students’ volunteer activity and career activity had the effect on the leadership life skills. The data was collected from 1,339 high school students in A Study on Korean Youth’s Participation in Hands-on Activities III in 2016. The results from the analyzed data are as follows. First, volunteer activity and career activity were proven to be essential factors that have influence on the high school students’ the sense of community. Second, volunteer activity and career activity were proven to be essential factors that have influence on the high school students’ the leadership life skills. Third, partial mediating effect of the sense of community was verified in the relationship among volunteer activity, career activity and the leadership life skills.
