유·초 연계교육 프로그램이 유아의 자아탄력성과 학교준비도에 미치는 영향

The effects of child-care center and elementary school linkage education program on children’s resilience and school readiness

본 연구에서는 유·초 연계교육 프로그램이 유아의 자아탄력성과 학교준비도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 프로그램의 체계는 목표, 내용, 활동방법, 평가로 구성되었으며, ‘기본생활습관’, ‘사회관계’, ‘기초학습’, ‘학교생활적응’ 4개 프로그램의 내용 영역을 구분하였다. 어린이집 생활주제에 맞춰 총 23회기 유아교육기관 프로그램과 총 5회기 가정연계프로그램을 개발하였다. 만 5세 유아 52명에게 사전검사를 하고 실험집단 26명에게 유·초 연계교육 프로그램을 적용하였으며, 종결 후 연구대상에 사후검사를 하였다. 실험집단과 통제집단의 사전·사후검사 점수를 비교한 결과 유·초 연계교육 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단 유아들의 자아탄력성(주도성, 자기통제력, 애착)과 학교준비도(기본생활습관, 사회정서발달, 일상생활지식, 기초학습능력)가 유의하게 상승하여 본 프로그램은 유아의 자아탄력성과 학교준비도 향상에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to child-care center and elementary school linkage education program and to analyze the effects of that program on children’s resilience and school readiness. The child-care center and elementary school linkage education program maintained objective, content, teaching-learning method, evaluation system and four areas of elementary school adjustment(physical health and motor development, cognitive development and general knowledge, social-emotional development, and daily life habits and attitudes). It also child-care center and elementary school linkage education program based on the child-care center life subject. The subjects used in this experimental study were 52 five-year-old children from two classes in child-care center in J city to prove validity of early childhood practice application of the child-care center and elementary school linkage education program. Two classes were assigned to an experimental group and a control group. Finally, the positive effects of the child-care center and elementary school linkage education program on children’s resilience and school readiness. These results proved validity of early childhood practice application of the child-care center and elementary school linkage education program developed in this study.
