피아노 교육에서 사용되는 쇼팽 에디션의 활용방안을 위한 비교 연구

A Comparative Study on the Application of Chopin Editions in Piano Education

프레데릭 쇼팽(Frederic Chopin (1810-1849)의 피아노 작품을 교육할 때에 지도자나 학생들은 각기 다른 여러 버전으로 인해 에디션을 선택하는 데 어려움이 따른다. 본 연구는 현재 국내외적으로 많이 사용되는 에디션 중에서 최근 출판된 국립 판(National Edition of the Works of Fryderyk Chopin)을 중심으로 총 6개의 에디션인 파데레브스키 판(The Fryderyk Chopin Institute Polish Music Publications), 셔머 판(G. Schirmer Edition), 헨레 판(G. Henle Edition), 알프레드판(Alfred Masterwork Edition) 및 태림 판(태림 출판사)을 선정하여 비교 분석함으로써, 각 버전별 특징을 파악하여 피아노 교육에서 보다 효율적으로 사용될 수 있도록 그 방안을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 이 에디션 비교 연구는 사례연구로서 쇼팽의 생전에 출판된 작품인 <Chopin waltzes, Op. 64, nos. 1 & 2>와 폰타나(J. Fontana)에 의해서 출판된 작품인 <Chopin waltzes, Op. 69, nos. 1 & 2>의 네 작품을 선정하였다.

When teaching piano works by Frederic Chopin(1810-1849), most piano teachers and students have difficulty choosing the edition from many different versions. The purpose of this study is to provide the ways to choose the edition for piano education efficiently by comparing six editions including the recent scholarly edition of National Edition of the Works of Fryderyk Chopin, The Fryderyk Chopin Institute Polish Music Publications, G. Schirmer Edition, G. Henle Edition.This edition comparative study is a case study, published in Chopin s life, <Chopin waltzes, Op. 64, nos. 1 & 2> and published by J. Fontana. Op. 69, nos. 1 & 2>, four works of were selected.
