중첩되는 전쟁과 망각되는 일본군 ‘위안부’ 서사

A Study on the Overlapping Wars and the Fogetting Narrative of Japanese Military Comfort Women

이 연구는 태평양전쟁과 한국전쟁 그리고 냉전으로 중첩되는 전쟁 속에서 일본군‘위안부’ 서사가 어떻게 망각되어 왔는지 고찰한다. 식민지 이후 국가건설기의 서사가 민족주의로 수렴되는 여성 수난사 이야기가 되면서 성노예화 시스템과 여성차별에 대한 직접적인 문제제기가 불가능하게 되었다. 이는 ‘민족’과 연계되지 못한 일본군‘위안부’ 서사는 ‘공백’으로 존재하게 한 한편, 일본군‘위안부’ 문제를 일본과의 관계 속에서만 인식하게 하는 작용을 했다. 또한 업자와 식민지 하부권력-군대와 행정-식민종주국으로 중층화하는 가해주체에 대한 해석과 성노예화의 과정이 일본군‘위안부’ 서사 속에서 어떠한 방법으로 드러나는지를 살펴본다. 태평양 전쟁과 한국전쟁으로 이어지는 전쟁 속에서 다시 귀환하는 남성중심적 태평양 전쟁의 기억과 식민주의의 기억은 또 한번 일본군‘위안부’ 피해자들의 목소리를 삭제·망각시키고 있다.

This study examines how the Japanese military “comfort women” narratives have been forgotten in the overlapping wars of the Pacific War, the Korean War, and the Cold War. After the colonial period, the narrative of the national construction period became the Women Crucible Hi-Story. At the same time, it became impossible to raise a direct problem with the sex slavery system and discrimination against women. It makes that the Japanese military comfort women narrative which is not connected to the nation exist as a blank . In addition, it makes that the Japanese military “comfort women” problem is aware of the problem in relation to Japan only. And this study clarifies the overlapping force of the Japanese military comfort women . Then analyzes the process of sexual slavery in the narrative of the Japanese military comfort women .
