고유한 특징이 드러난 텍스트의 제시는 학습자에게 해당 장르를 인식할 수 있도록 지표가 되어 줄 것이며, 적절하게 연계된 활동은 장르 인식 능력을 향상에 도움을 주어 텍스트의 이해와 생산을 용이하게 하는 역할을 할 수 있다. 이러한 관점에서 기사문은 장르를 기반으로 하는 읽기 교육에 있어 중요한 제재로 활용될 수 있다. 본 연구는 한국어 통합 교재 9종에 제시된 기사문이 어떠한 양상으로 활용되고 있는지 내용, 구조, 언어적 표현으로 범주화하여 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 한국어 교재에 제시된 기사문은 대부분 내용 파악을 목표로 하는 활동에 활용되는 것으로 나타났다. 기사문의 유형을 차용하지만 기사문에 담긴 내용에만 주목하고 고유의 특성인 구조와 언어적 표현에는 주목하지 않고 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 구조와 언어적 표현을 교육 내용으로 삼은 교재에서도 표면적인 지식만을 다룰 뿐 심도 있게 접근하고 있지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 이를 통해, 교재에서 기사문이 장르 인식 능력 향상에 기여하도록 하기 위해서는 기사문의 구조가 구체적인 언어적 표현이 기반이 되어 구현되는 양상을 텍스트를 통해 명시적으로 보여주어야 하며, 학습자 스스로 장르를 이해하여 변용까지 할 수 있도록 전략적인 활동이 마련되어야 할 필요가 있음을 확인하였다.
This study analyzed the texts of articles in Korean textbooks from a genre point of view and examined their use. For this analysis, I examined the educational value of whether the newspaper texts presented in nine Korean textbooks currently used in Korean educational institutions and reveal their genre and how they relates to reading content. Most activities related to articles presented in Korean textbooks are aimed at understanding the contents. It was found that borrowing the type of articles, but not focusing on the original text structure and linguistic expression of the article. And It pays attention only the contents in the article. In addition, textbooks using linguistic expression as educational content only cover superficial knowledge rather than approaching it in depth. Thus, it was confirmed that the text structure and linguistic expression need to be related to contents that provide specific knowledge about the genre of the article in order to enhance the ability of foreign learners to recognize the genre.
