2015 개정 교육과정 핵심역량기반 창의·인성 국어수업 방안 모색

Solution Search of Korean Language Class for Creativity & Humanity based on Core Competencies of 2015 Revised Curriculum - Focusing on Literary Domain of Middle School Korean Language Textbooks

본 연구는 2015 개정 국어과 핵심역량과 창의·인성 교육의 연계에 대한 논의를 바탕으로 중학교 국어교과서 문학영역의 ‘삶의 성찰’과 관련된 성취기준 분석을 통해서 “우리가 함께하는 지금이 봄날”이라는 대주제로 ‘B.T.S(Best Ten System) 창의·인성 교육 프로젝트’를 구안하여 제시해 보았다. 2015 개정 교육과정은 실제 교육현장에 맞게 간소화되었지만 핵심역량을 기반으로 하여 창의성 교육과 인성 교육을 어떻게 통합하여 가르칠 것인가에 대한 구체적인 실행방안은 아직 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본고에서 문학을 통한 실제 교육현장에서 구현해 볼 수 있는 창의·인성 교육 프로젝트를 구안하여 제시한 것은 앞으로 국어교육뿐만 아니라 다른 교과에서도 충분히 연계 가능하다는 점에서 핵심역량 기반의 교육적 의의가 충분하다고 본다. 자신의 진로와 꿈에 대해 관심을 갖게 되면서 자신의 소질과 능력에 대해 이해해 가며 자아정체성을 형성해 가는 중학생들에게 일상생활에서 쉽게 접할 수 있는 영상이나 음악, 도서 등을 교과와 연계하여 ‘삶을 성찰’할 수 있는 프로젝트의 구안은 핵심역량을 기반으로 한 창의·인성 국어수업에 기틀이 되었다는 데 그 시사하는 바가 크다고 할 수 있다.

Based on discussions with regard to a connection between the core competencies of Korean language class in the 2015 revised curriculum and the education for creativity and humanity, this study was designed to present the “B.T.S.(Best Ten System) Creation & Humanity Education Project” with a theme of “These spring days when we are together” through the achievement standard analysis associated with the “Introspection on Life” literary domain of the middle school Korean language textbooks. Even though the 2015 revised education curriculum was simplified to contain actual educational settings, it is still insufficient in the specific execution measures on how to integrate both creativity and humanity education in order to educate students. In this context, this study designed and proposed a project for implementing creativity and humanity in actual educational settings through literature, thereby presenting the educational significance of creativity and humanity education based on the core competencies in that it is likely to apply in other subjects in addition to the Korean language. Middle school students typically form their ego identity through the understanding of their own aptitude and capability by having an interest in their career path and dreams. This study has a substantial implication in that it can become a base in the Korean language class for cultivating the creativity and humanity of middle school students by designing and providing a project on “introspection on life” through connecting the curriculum to video applications, music, and books that are easily accessible.
