This study analyzes the contents of Dokil village (German Village in Namhae) and SeoRae Village (French Village in Seoul), as an area where congregation and separation appear as a social structural space. In general, the space of foreigners congregation and separation appears as discrimination and prejudice. However, the case regions in this study are all considered to be spaces of convergent and positive congregation and separation. This is due to Koreans friendly attitude toward Europeans. Nevertheless, the policy of using local landscapes for tourist and commercial purposes without considering the culture of these residents should be revised. In addition, the problem of lack of facilities, limited opportunities for residents, and problems of language communication should be improved promptly.
