China and its relations with the neighboring countries

The ultimate goal of the research is to draw the implication of the reinforcement of the relations between China and its neighboring countries. Changes in China s policies toward its border countries and its development of the relationship with the neighboring countries in terms of economy and diplomacy with the support of such policies are to be viewed throughout the research. The relations between China and its neighboring countries are getting deeper in both economic and diplomatic aspects after China s reform and opening in 1979. While neighboring countries impact on China s economy is still trivial, China s impact on their economy are getting more significant as China s economic size and their trade dependence on China are getting larger. This paper shows that neighboring countries export and China s economic growth have stable relationship in the long run and also the impact of Chinese economic growth on their export are getting larger over time. Strengthening of the relations between China and its neighboring countries signifies the sustainable growth of Chinese economy. It has considerable implication in China business, for its positive effect on the nation s continuous growth. It can be an opportunistic factor for China-oriented global business, for it implies the expansion of Chinese market in the long term. However, the reinforcement of the relations between China and its neighboring countries simultaneously implies the more competitive relation between Korean and Chinese corporations in China and the countries along its border.
