The change of East Asia economic circumstances and Korea-China economic cooperation -On the Focus on the outer-factors Analysis in Incheon Economic Hub

The development of Chinese economy have had a enormous influence upon East Asia and Korean peninsular. The strategy of Incheon Economic Hub can be seen to form a link in the chain of the active confrontation. The intention of setting up Economic Free Zone in Incheon is to aim at enlargement of Korea- China economic cooperation, especially Chinese East coast area. In this manner, the strategy of Incheon Economic Hub is directly effected from the Chinese economic development. The main changing factors of outside surroundings around Incheon area is as follows; First, the economic cooperation structure in East Asia is changing from Japan-centered cooperation to China-centered cooperation, and Korea s foreign economic cooperation structure is also changing to this direction. Second, Chinese market economy is very rapidly developing, The speed of China s economic growth jump over general forecast, and the effect is very shocking. The China s economic growth recorded 9.4% a year from 1979 to 2005. Third, the development speed of Korea-China economic cooperation is faster than the development speed of China s foreign economic cooperation. The present economic situation between the two country reflects the mutual economic supplement and contiguity. Considering the changing factors of outside surroundings around Incheon area, the strategy of Incheon Economic Hub is relatively quick in conception, but not quick in action. The present situation of the Incheon Economic Hub drive is not yet successful. To tell the truth, it has not a few problem to cope with. This paper is based on these situation understandings, and is drawn up under the characteristics and premise as follows; First, it is focused on the main changing factors of outside surroundings around Incheon area. Second, the important premise is to make an analysis outside surroundings around Incheon area confining inside the East Asia zone, that is, the East Asia economic cooperation structure, China economy, and Korea-China economic cooperation. Third, in the process of analysis, the political approach is also used besides the economic approach. It is considered the intricate factors in the international circumstances of East Asia.
