USA s Economic Sanction for North Korea

Economic sanctions was used even abused all around world longtime during the cold era to maintain the international hegemonic order compare to the hot war era. The different objects between leading countries and supporting countries for international economic sanction lead to ask remove or incapacitate economic sanction as the major sources of economic disaster of suffering countries from the economic sanction. The USA keeps the head of super power group and trying to confirm the Pax-Americana unipolar system by maintaining the collective leadership system. To achieve the intension of unipolar system the USA wants to initiate to maintain the regional order even by using military actions in the regional warfare all around the world. Under this emerging international order it is necessary to think about new approaches for the so-called rouge states suffering economic hardships resulting from the irrational economic sanction. For example, the irrational approaches are obviously proved from the facts of mitigating and alleviating the economic sanctions for North Korea and some of the Middle East countries. Therefore, it can not be ignored the real facts are disguised for the cheating and confusing methods to get the their objects by using economic sanction. Because the suffering countries are reduced to a chaotic state and be drawn into the maelstrom of interest of election campaign and power games of super powers. Economic sanction can t be from the criticisms for the serious destruction and disasters of economic catastrophe, social structure and human right basically. North Korea are continuously suffering more than 50years from the economic sanctions of USA s export control act since June 28, 1950 just after Korean war broken out and listed as one of the terror-supporting countries since January 20, 1988. After USA announced to mitigate the economic sanction for North Korea from June 18, 2000, the real actions were not taken since North Korea was not removed from the terror-supporting country list. Furthermore, the multinational Wassenaar Arrangement to control the traditional weapon and strategic materials and technology export is extended to limit the trade of computer equipments. This new field for economic sanctions will negatively affect the development of IT industry in North Korea and the inter-Korean economic cooperations.
