The Structure Change of Division of Labor inter Korea·China·Japan and Korea s Strategy

Korean economy has developed with export oriented policy. And it also has taken catching-up Japanese industries, so many Korean commodities are competiting with Japanese commodities in the world market. But, in recent China s exports are increasing and Korea and China are competiting with in many commodities. Recently increase of China s exports are concerned with Foreign Direct Investments for the purpose of export which are invested to China. Japan is one of the big invester to China. Japan s investment to China is much bigger than that of Korea. Japan s direct investment to China makes competitiveness of China s commodities stronger. After China join in WTO, it looks as Japan s Direct Investment to China is increase. For this reason Korea-China s competition in the world market will be grow in intensity. In this paper, I examined the structure change of division of labor inter Korea·China·Japan and present Korea s strategy.
