A Study on the Management of Alopecia According to the Time of Awareness of Scalp Seborrheic Dermatitis and Alopecia

Previous studies have shown that Seborrheic Scalpitis in adolescence leads to Alopecia. Therefore, it can be predicted that the management of Scalp Seborrheic Dermatitis in adolescence will affect the prevention of Alopecia later in life. In this study, we analyzed the differences between the progression of Alopecia and the age at which Alopecia appears according to the response to previous cases Seborrheic Dermatitis in chronic Alopecia patients. As a result of the analysis, it was found that there was a difference between the time of occurrence and the duration of hair loss when an active response to a previous case of Seborrheic Dermatitis occurred. Therefore, it is estimated that an active initial response to Seborrheic Dermatitis will have an improved effect on preventing Alopecia. The relationship between the onset of Seborrheic Dermatitis and the age of the appearance of Alopecia was also highly correlated. In conclusion, we proposed methods of self-home care that help young adults improve the symptoms of Scalp Seborrheic Dermatitis and prevent Alopecia.
