中國 對外經濟政策의 戰略的 性格

It’s not easy to understand the major policy decisions in the foreign economic policies of China in the pure economic perspective. This study is trying to identify the abnormalities in the China’s major foreign economic policies and provide some preliminary explanations about those abnormalities. China had accepted a double standard to join WTO. China’s FTA target countries don’t seem to be its major trading partners. China’s ODI has been overly focused on mining rather than manufacturing. China seems to be obsessed in accumulating huge foreign reserve. China’s ODA does not follow the global rules and standard of ODA such as the principles imposed by DAC. The nature of China’s economy as a large-open economy, transition economy and its longterm, implicit pursuit to be a hegemony country is considered as the possible (and very preliminary) explanations for those abnormalities.
