초등학교 현장에서 이루어지는 진로교육 활동에 대한 학생들의 만족감이 학습태도를 매개로 진로인식에 미치는 영향 분석

Analysis of the Effect of Students Satisfaction with Career Education Activities on Career Recognition through Learning Attitude in the Elementary School

본 연구에서는 진로교육 현황조사 2016~2018년 데이터를 사용하여 초등학교 현장에서 이루어지는 진로교육 활동에 대한 학생들의 만족감이 학습태도를 매개로 진로인식에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 2016년 3125명, 2017년 3721명, 2018년 3006명의 초등학교 6학년 학생 자료를 활용하여 변인별 기술통계, 상관분석, 매개효과분석을 수행한 결과, 첫째, 진로교육 활동 만족감과 학습태도 및 진로인식은 서로 정적인 상관관계가 존재하였다. 둘째, 진로교육 활동 만족감은 학습태도와 진로인식에, 학습태도는 진로인식에 유의한 정의 영향을 미치고 있었다. 셋째, 진로교육 활동 만족감과 진로인식의 관계에서 학습태도는 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리하여 초등학교 현장에서 학생들의 진로교육 활동 만족감은 학습태도를 부분 매개하여 진로인식에 정적인 영향을 미치고 있음이 본 연구에서 확인되었다. 이를 바탕으로 다음과 같이 제언하였다. 첫째, 내실 있는 진로교육 활동의 마련이 필요하다. 둘째, 학생들의 학습태도를 바르게 신장시키려는 노력이 필요하다. 셋째, 본 연구와 관련하여 학교 현장에서 이루어지는 진로교육에 관한 다양한 후속연구가 필요하다.

This study analyzed the effect of students satisfaction with career education activities on career recognition through learning attitude in the elementary school using data on career education surveys 2016-2018. Using data of 3,125 sixth grade students in 2016, 3,721 sixth grade students in 2017, and 3,006 sixth grade students in 2018, I performed technical statistics, correlation analysis, and mediating effect analysis by variables. As a result, first, there was a positive correlation between satisfaction with career education activities, learning attitude, and career recognition. Second, satisfaction with career education activities had a significant positive effect on learning attitude and career recognition, and learning attitude had a significant positive effect on career recognition. Third, in the relationship between satisfaction with career education activities and career recognition, it was found that learning attitude was partly mediated. Therefore, it was confirmed in this study that the students satisfaction with career education activities had a positive influence on career recognition by partially mediating the learning attitude in the elementary school. Based on this, the following were suggested. First, it is necessary to prepare substantial career education activities. Second, it is necessary to increase students learning attitude. Third, in connection with this study, it is necessary to conduct various follow-up studies on career education in the school field.
