아버지의 원가족 건강성이 양육참여에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Father’s Family-of-Origin Health on His Parenting Participation: Mediating Effects of Marital Communication

본 연구는 아버지의 양육참여에 영향을 미치는 변인으로 원가족 건강성과 부부간 의사소통을 상정하고 그 영향을 확인하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 만3-5세 유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지 374명을 대상으로 아버지의 원가족 건강성, 부부간 의사소통, 양육참여 정도를 조사하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21 Program을 이용하여 기술통계, 상관분석, 회귀분석 및 Sobel Test를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 아버지의 원가족 건강성은 양육참여에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 아버지의 원가족 건강성은 부부간 의사소통에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 부부간 의사소통은 아버지의 양육참여에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째 아버지의 원가족 건강성과 양육참여간의 관계에서 부부간 의사소통은 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 본 연구는 아버지의 양육참여 증가를 위하여 다양한 심리적 변인들에 대한 다각적 고찰의 필요성과 공동양육자로서의 아버지에 대한 후속연구의 방향을 제안하였다.

This research has been conducted introduce family-of-origin health and marital communication as variables that affect father’s parenting participation and to examine those effects. To examine research question above father’s family-of-origin health, martal communication, and parenting involvement were investigated in 374 fathers with children aged 3-5. The collected data was conducted using Spss 21 Program for technical statistics, correlation analysis, regression analysis and Sobel Test. The results are as follows. First, it was shown that father’s family-of-origin health had an effect on marital communication. Second, father’s family-of-origin health influedced marital communication. Third, marital communication had an effect on father’s parenting partipation. Fourth, marital communication were shown to play a mediation role on terms with father’s family-of-origin health and parenting participation. Based on the findings, this research suggested that necessity of diversified consideration of various psychological variables and the direction of the tollow-up research of the father as a coparenting to increase the father’s participation in parenting.
