대학생의 대인관계문제와 우울과의 관계에서 스트레스의 매개효과

Mediating Effects of Stress on the Relationship between Interpersonal Problems and Depression in College Students

본 연구에서는 대학생의 대인관계문제와 우울의 관계에서 스트레스가 매개하는지를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 대구 소재의 대학생 307명을 대상으로 한국형 대인관계문제검사 단축형, 한국판 CES-D(우울검사), 한국판 대학생용 생활스트레스 검사를 실시하여 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 연구를 진행하였다. 연구대상자의 인적 특성 분포를 알아보기 위해 빈도분석을 실시하였으며, 가설 검정에 사용하는 대인관계문제, 스트레스, 우울 관련 문항들에 대해 신뢰도 분석으로 내적합치도를 산출하였다. 그리고 분석에 투입되는 관측변인의 투입이 적절한지를 판단하기 위해 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 후, 구조모형 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대인관계문제가 많을수록 우울한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대인관계문제가 많을수록 스트레스가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 스트레스가 높을수록 우울한 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 대인관계문제와 우울의 관계는 스트레스를 통해서도 매개효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점 등에 관해 제언하였다

The purpose of this study was to examine whether stress is mediated in the relationship between college students interpersonal problems and depression. For this purpose, we conducted a study based on the collected data of 307 college students in Daegu by conducting a Short form of the Korean Inventory of Interpersonal Problems Circumplex Scales(KIIP-SC), Korean adaptation of CES-D(depression scale), and Korean adaptation of Life Stress Scale for college students. Frequency analysis was performed to investigate the distribution of human characteristics in the study subjects. Internal consistency were calculated through reliability analysis for interpersonal problems, stress, and depression related items. In order to determine whether the input of observational variables into the analysis is appropriate, a confirmatory factor analysis was conducted and then a structural model analysis was conducted. The research results are as follows. First, the more interpersonal problems, the more depressed. Second, the more interpersonal problems, the higher the stress. Third, the higher the stress, the more depressive. Fourth, the relationship between interpersonal problems and depression also showed mediating effects through stress. Finally, the implications and limitations of this study were suggested.
