Morphological Development of the Larvae and Juveniles of Thamnaconus modestus

2014년 5월 전라남도 여수시 돌산읍 두문포에서 채집한 말쥐치 어미를 전남대학교 자원생물실험실로 운반하여 순치시킨 후 인공 수정하여 부화시킨 부화자어 및 치어의 외부형태 발달을 관찰한 결과는 다음과 같다. 부화 직후 자어의 전장은 2.05~2.24 mm(평균 2.15mm, n=20)이고, 부화 후 3~4일의 자어는 전장 2.64mm~2.78 mm(평균 2.71, n=20)로 입과 항문이 열려, 먹이 활동을 시작하였다. 부화 후 5일의 자어는 전장 2.78~3.09 mm(평균 2.94 mm, n=20)이였으며, 부화 후 20일의 자어는 전장 6.10~6.19 mm(평균 6.15 mm, n=20)이었고, 부화 후 50일의 자어는 전장 31.74~33.52 mm(평균 32.63mm, n=20)이였다.

The development of larvae and juveniles of Thamnaconus modestus, was investigated in the laboratory at Chonnam National University. The experimental eggs were collected in Dumunpo, Dolsan-eup, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do in May 2014. The larvae were reared in the experimental tanks and observed their morphological change. The total length(TL) of the newly hatched larvae ranged from 2.05~2.24 mm(mean 2.15 mm, n=20). On the 3~4 days after hatching, there was a feeding activity at 2.64 mm~2.78 mm TL(mean 2.71 mm, n=20). On the 5 days after hatching, the larvae ranged from 2.78 mm~3.09 mm TL(mean 2.94 mm, n=20). On the 20 days after hatching, the larvae ranged from 6.10 mm~6.19 mm TL(mean 6.15 mm, n=20). On the 50 days after hatching, the juveniles ranged from 31.74 mm~33.52 mm TL(mean 32.63 mm, n=20).
