간호대학생의 자기주도적 학습능력과 학업적 자기효능감이 비판적 사고성향에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Self-Induced Learning Ability and Academic Self-Efficacy on Critical Thinking Propensity of Nursing College Students

본 연구는 간호대학생의 자기주도적 학습능력 및 학업적 자기효능감이 비판적 사고성향에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위함이다. 연구대상은 경상도 소재의 간호학과에 재학중인 학생 151명을 대상으로 설문지를 통하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0 program을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficients와 Multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과 5점 만점에 자기주도 학습능력이 평균 3.52±0.43점, 학업적 자기효능감이 평균 3.27±0.54점, 비판적 사고성향이 평균 3.58±0.37점으로 나타났다. 자기주도적 학습능력((r=.765, p<.001)과 학업적 자기효능감((r=.675, p<.001)은 비판적 사고성향에 유의한 상관관계를 보였으며, 자기주도적 학습능력과 학업적 자기효능감은 비판적 사고성향을 61.9%로 설명하고 있다. 따라서 자기주도적 학습능력과 학업적 자기효능감 향상을 위한 교수학습법 전략방안 모색이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of self-directed learning ability and academic self-efficacy on critical thinking tendency of nursing students. The data were collected from a questionnaire of 151 students in the nursing department of G city. Collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson s correlation coefficients and multiple regression using SPSS 21.0 program. The results showed that the self-directed learning ability averaged 3.52 ± 0.43, the academic self-efficacy was 3.27 ± 0.54 before, and the critical thinking tendency was 3.58 ± 0.37. Average scores among the general characteristics were statistically significant with self-directed learning ability, academic self-efficacy, and critical thinking. Self-directed learning ability ((r = .765, p <.001) and academic self-efficacy ((r = .675, p <.001) were significantly correlated with critical thinking disposition. The academic self-efficacy accounts for 61.9% of the critical thinking tendencies, so it is necessary to find strategies for teaching-learning methods to improve self-directed learning ability and academic self-efficacy.
