불안 및 우울 증상이 있는 성인의 정신문제 상담에 미치는 영향 요인

Factors Affecting Mental Problem Counseling in Adults with Anxiety and Depression Symptoms

본 연구는 성인의 정신문제 상담에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보기 위해 2015- 2018 국민건강영양조사에 참여자 중 불안과 우울 증상이 있는 1,326명의 성인을 대상으로 일반적 특성, 건강관련 특성에 따른 정신문제 상담 여부를 파악하고, 로지스틱 회귀분석 모델을 이용하여 연령과 성별에 따리 정신문제 상담 여부에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하고자 하였다. 그 결과, 대상자는 정신문제 상담 경험자 190명과 비경험자 1,136명으로 분류되었으며, 연구대상자의 특성 중 경제수준, 경제활동상태, 스트레스인지, 주관적 건강상태에서 정신문제 상담 경험 여부에 유의적인 차이가 있었다(p<0.05). 정신문제 상담 여부에 미치는 영향을 확인한 로지스틱 회귀모델에서 45세 미만 성인의 정신문제 상담 경험에 영향을 미치는 요인은 세부연령, 경제활동상태(OR=0.581; 95% CI=0.343-0.983), 스트레스인지(OR=0.26; 95% CI=0.120-0.5 64)였고, 중년기 이후 성인에서는 경제수준, 경제활동상태(OR=0.532; 95% CI=0.331-0.856), 스트레스인지(OR=0.514; 95% CI=0.315-0.839)가 영향 요인으로 나타났다(p<0.05). 성별에 따른 회귀모델에서는 남성의 정신문제 상담에 영향을 미치는 요인은 경제활동상태(OR=0.437; 95% CI=0.218-0.877), 스트레스인지(OR=0.256; 95% CI=0.107-0.614), 여성에서는 경제활동(OR=0.659; 95% CI=0.434-0.099), 스트레스인지(OR=0.496; 95% CI=0.312-0.788), 여성에서는 주관적 건강상태가 나쁘다고 느끼는 여성은 건강상태가 나쁘다고 느끼는 여성보다 정신문제 상담 가능성이 52% (OR=0.480; 95% CI=0.308-0.748) 낮았다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과는 성인의 정신문제 상담에 영향을 주는 공통적인 요인은 경제활동상태와 스트레스 인지이며, 연령과 성별에 따라 실질적인 정신문제 상담에 영향을 미치는 부가적인 특성이 모두 다르다는 것을 보여준다.

This study examined the factors influencing the counseling of mental problems in adults in 1,326 adults with symptoms of anxiety and depression among participants in the 2015-2018 National Health and Nutrition Survey. To this end, whether or not counseling of mental problems according to general characteristics and health-related characteristics was grasped, and factors affecting whether or not counseling of mental problems depended on age and gender were analyzed using a logistic regression model. As a result, among the subjects, 190 experienced mental counseling and 1,136 non-experienced were classified. Among the characteristics of the study subjects, there was a significant difference in the experience of counseling in mental problems in economic level, economic activity status, stress perception, and subjective health status (p<0.05). In the logistic regression model that confirmed the effect on mental counseling, the factors affecting the counseling of mental problems under the age of 45 were detailed age, economic activity status (OR=0.581; 95% CI=0.343-0.983), and stress. (OR=0.26; 95% CI=0.120-0.564), economic level, economic activity status (OR=0.532; 95% CI=0.331-0.856), stress perception (OR=0.514; 95% CI=0.315) in middle-aged and older adults -0.839) (p<0.05). In the regression model according to gender, the factors affecting men s mental problems counseling were economic activity status (OR=0.437; 95% CI=0.218-0.877), stress perception (OR=0.256; 95% CI=0.107-0.614), In women, it was economic activity (OR=0.659; 95% CI=0.434-0.099) and stress perception (OR=0.496; 95% CI=0.312-0.788). In women, the group who felt that their subjective health was bad was 52% (OR=0.480; 95% CI=0.308-0.748) less likely to counsel mental problems than the group who felt that their health was bad. These results show that the common factors influencing the counseling of adults with mental problems are economic activity status and stress perception, and all additional characteristics affecting the actual counseling of mental problems differ according to age and gender.
