일개 대학 간호대학생의 감성지능, 간호전문직관과 의사소통능력

Study on the Emotional intelligence, Nursing Professionalism, and Communication Ability of Nursing Students at a College of Nursing

본 연구는 일개 대학 간호대학생의 감성지능, 간호전문직관, 의사소통능력의 정도를 확인하고, 이들 간의 관계를 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 자료수집은 2019년 12월 2일부터 12월 13일까지 B 광역시 소재 일개 간호대학에 재학 중인 학생 90명을 대상으로 구조화된 자가보고형 설문지를 배부하여 시행하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 25.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 간호대학생의 의사소통능력은 감성지능(r=.55, p<.001), 간호전문직관(r=.60, p<.001)과 통계적으로 유의한 양의 상관관계를 나타내었다. 따라서 간호대학생의 의사소통능력 증진을 위해서 감성지능, 간호전문직관을 향상시킬 수 있는 교육프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

This study is a descriptive research study to find out level of emotional intelligence, nursing professionalism, and communication ability of nursing students at a college of nursing, and to identify relationship between them. Data were collected from December 2nd to 13th, 2019 by distributing structured self-reporting questionnaires to 90 students attending a nursing college in B metropolitan city. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson s correction using the SPSS WIN 25.0 program. According to the study, the communication ability of nursing students showed a statistically significant positive correlation with emotional intelligence (r=.55, p<.001), a nursing professionalism (r=.60, p<.001). These findings suggest the need for developing a communication ability improvement educational program that focuses on improving nursing professionalism and emotional intelligence.
