다문화가정 청소년이 지각하는 학교 소속감이 학교생활 적응에 미치는 영향에서 사회적 지지의 매개효과

The Mediating Effect of Perceived Social Support between Perceived School Belonging and School Adjustment of Adolescents of Multicultural Families: Focused on Supporters and Support Types

본 연구는 다문화가정 청소년이 지각하는 학교 소속감이 학교생활 적응에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 학교 소속감이 학교생활 적응에 미치는 영향중에서 지각된 사회적 지지가 매개 역할을 하는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 서울·경기도에 위치한 21개의 다문화가정 건강지원센터에서 다문화가정 중학생을 대상으로 자기 보고식 설문조사로 진행하였으며, 총 209부를 분석에 사용하였다. 다문화가정 청소년의 학교 소속감 및 지각된 사회적 지지와 학교생활 적응과의 관계를 살펴보기 위해 회귀분석을 사용하였고 지각한 사회적 지지가 학교 소속감과 학교생활 적응과의 관계에서 매개효과를 하는지 검증하기 위해 Baron과 Kenny(1986)의 위계적 회귀분석을 활용한 후, Sobel test로 유의성을 검증하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다문화가정 청소년이 지각한 학교 소속감, 사회적 지지, 그리고 학교생활 적응은 서로 정적인 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 다문화가정 청소년이 지각한 학교 소속감과 사회적 지지는 학교생활 적응에 직접적인 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 지지 원과 지지 유형에 따른 사회적 지지는 다문화가정 청소년이 지각한 학교 소속감과 학교생활 적응 사이에서 완전 매개효과를 가졌다. 이와 같은 결과로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점을 논의하였다.

This research investigated the mediating effect of perceived social support, focused on social support from persons and psycho-social support from persons, between school belonging and school adjustment on multicultural families’ adolescents in South Korea. This study was conducted as a self-report questionnaire for middle school students at 21 multicultural family health support centers located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do were participated in the survey for this research. A total of 209 were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and used a correlation and regression analysis, proposed by Baron and Kenny(1986), to estimate the relationship between research variables. The results were as follows; First, there is a significant correlation among perceived school belonging and social support and school adjustment on multicultural families’ adolescents. Second, perceived school belonging and social support had direct effects on their school adjustment. Lastly, perceived social support according to supporters and support types had a full mediating effect between school belonging and school adjustment on adolescents of multicultural families. As a result, the implications and limitations of this study were discussed.
