Wibro 서비스 제공업체의 역량에 관한 연구 : 자원기준관점

An Exploratory Study on the Organizational Capabilities of WiBro Service Provider : Based on RBV Theory

본 연구에서는 국내의 무선인터넷 서비스 사용자들을 대상으로 향후 휴대인터넷 서비스를 제공하는 업체들이 갖추어야 하는 역량에 대하여 어떻게 인식하고 있는가를 파악하고자 하였다. 특히, 휴대인터넷 서비스 제공업체가 갖추어야 하는 역량에 대한 인식이 휴대인터넷 서비스 사용자의 특성(인구 통계적 특성, 서비스 이용 특성)에 따라 차이가 존재하는가를 파악함으로써, 휴대인터넷 사용자의 특성과 휴대인터넷 제공업체의 역량간의 관련성을 중심으로 연구명제를 제시하고자 하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여, 본 연구에서는 문헌검토 결과를 토대로 휴대인터넷 서비스 사용자의 인구 통계적 특성(성, 연령, 직업), 서비스 이용 특성(이용시간대, 이용 장소), 휴대인터넷 서비스 제공업체의 역량(회계/재무역량, 생산/서비스역량, 마케팅/영업역량, R&D/기술역량)을 정의하였으며, 이를 기반으로 국내의 잠재 휴대인터넷 서비스 사용자들을 대상으로 설문조사와 통계분석을 실시하였다.

This study is to investigate how mobile internet service users recognize that Wibro service providers should be equipped with what type of organizational capabilities. Especially, this study, in exploratory point of view, examines the recognition is differed by characteristics (demographical, service using) of Wibro service users. This study also is to suggest a few of research propositions regarding the relationships between organizational capabilities and characteristics of Wibro service users from various statistical analyses. To accomplish these research purposes, this study defined demographical (gender, age, job) and service using (time zone, place) characteristics of Wibro service users and organizational capabilities of Wibro service providers (accounting/finance capabilities, production/service capabilities, marketing/sales capabilities, research and development/technology capabilities) based on the review of past mobile internet service related studies. And then, this study performed not only questionnaire survey on latent Wibro service users but also various statistical analyses.
