Development of Income Estimation Model Using Financial Transaction Data

금융기관에서 소득에 기반을 둔 고객세분화와 활용은 고객관계관리(CRM; customer relationship management) 측면에서 매우 중요한 수단이다. 그러나 개별 고객의 소득정보는 개인정보의 수집으로 매우 어려운 문제이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 각종 금융정보를 이용하여 개별 고객의 소득추정을 위한 통계적 모형의 구축을 수행하고 그 결과의 활용방안을 제시하고자 한다. 모형 구축을 위한 방법으로 로그소득을 반응변수로 하는 선형 회귀모형과 포아송 회귀모형을 이용하였으며 시중 A 은행의 사례를 이용하여 분석을 수행하고 그 활용 방안을 제시하였다.

The usage of customer segmentation and application results based on income is the major tool for CRM(customer relationship management). However the collection of individual income is very difficult because the individual income is confidential information. Thus this study tried to construct statistical modeling for individual income estimation using several types of financial information and to suggest the application of estimated incomes. We use the regression model using log income as the response variable and the Poisson regression model for income model construction. As a case study, we use bank A s information and present the application of the income estimation model.
