의무기록정보를 활용한 사망요일별 환자특성에 관한 연구

A Study on Character of Death Patients Using Medical Record Information

사망이란 보건학적 관점에서 불 건강을 명확하게 나타내는 척도이다. 사망증명서는 법과 의료, 보건 등의 영역에서 중요하게 다루어지는 공문서이다. 이는 사망증명서가 사망시간, 일자, 성, 출생일, 직업뿐만 아니라 사망의 원인에 대한 정보를 제공하기 때문이다. 의무기록 자료는 환자에 관한 정확한 질환상태와 수술 및 처치에 대한 상세한 기록을 제공한다는 점에서 사망환자의 정확한 질병통계 산출을 위해 매우 중요하다. 여기서 의무기록자료 중 가장 기본이 되는 것은 의무기록 부서의 퇴원요약정보라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 병원의 의무기록과에서 생산하고 있는 한국형 퇴원요약자료(korea uniform hospital discharge data sets; KUHDDS)를 활용하여 사망요일에 따른 일반적 특성, 내원상태, 입원상태, 진료상태 및 주 진단명의 사망 요인을 파악함으로써 건강증진에 도움을 줄 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.

A medical certificate of death is an important official document in the field of health legally and medically. It is provided with a time and date of death, gender, the date of birth as well as the information about the cure of death. The record datum of medical affairs are very important in the accuracy to calculate a disease statistics of death patients because it can be collected detailed operation and treatment records as well as exact disease conditions about patients. From this point of view, the most basis among the record datum of medical affairs might be discharge summary from hospital of medical affairs department. In this respect, this study aims to provide basic information to help the right distribution of health medical resources and improve nation s health by understanding patients general properties, visit status, period of emergency room visit, symptoms and other factors using Korea Uniform Hospital Discharge Data Sets.
