의무기록 정보를 활용한 내과 질병통계에 관한 연구

A study on statistics for internal disease using Health Medical Information

우리나라의 경우 아직 국가 단위 질병 통계가 생성되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 의료보험 자료를 기초로 해서 만드는 질병 통계가 있지만 여러 면에서 신뢰도가 떨어진다고 보고되고 있다. 이로 인해 국가적인 모니터링이 불가능하며, 국제적인 질병 통계와 비교할 수 없는 현실이다. 이러한 실정을 고려할 때 병원 통계에 대한 기반을 시급히 구축하여 국가적인 보건 지표를 생성하고, 국내에서 의학자를 포함하여 정보 이용자가 필요로 하는 수준으로 하는 질병 통계 정보가 시급히 제공되어야 할 것이다. 이에 본 논문에서 시도하는 퇴원환자 표준자료세트(uniform hospital discharge data Sets; 이하 UHDDS)를 적용하여 통계를 생산하는 작업은 표준화된 질병 및 의료 이용에 대한 정보를 생산하는 것으로서 국민의 병원 이용 실태 파악이 가능하다는 데 그 의의가 있다고 볼 수 있다.

In Korea, there is no statistics of disease for the national unit. even there is statistics of disease based on the medical insurance, but it is poor credibility. Therefore it is very difficult to compare national monitoring and international statistics of disease. Considering this situation, we should construct a base of hospital statistics, create the national health index and provide information about statistics of disease with needed levels for the user of the information immediately. In this respect, this study is worthy of understanding the standardized disease, creation of information about the medical use, seizing the national hospital using.
