연관성규칙을 이용한 매개효과 검정에 관한 연구

A Study for Intervening Effect Verification Using Association Rules

독립변수와 종속변수 사이에 매개변수가 실제적으로 매개하는지를 검증하는 방법을 매개효과 검정이라고 한다. 매개효과가 있는 것으로 판단되면 독립변수와 종속변수는 직접적 관련성보다는 간접적 관련성을 해석하는 것이 바람직하다.일반적으로 매개효과를 검정하는 방법으로 매개회귀분석이 사용된다. 그러나 매개회귀분석에서는 등간 또는 비율자료만이 사용 가능하며, 연관성 규칙 등에서 사용하는 서열 또는 명목자료인 경우에는 사용하기가 곤란하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 자료의 형태가 서열 또는 명목자료인 경우에 연관성규칙을 이용한 매개효과를 검정하는 방법을 기술하고 실제 자료에 적합하고자 한다. 연관성규칙을 이용하여 매개효과를 검정하는 것은 생성된 규칙에 대한 관련성을 보다 정확하고 명확하게 이해할 수 있으므로 결과의 해석을 보다 용이하게 할 수 있다.

Intervening variable explains how external events take on internal significance. The general verification for intervening effect is to examine the relation between independent variable and the dependent variable, the relation between independent variable and intervening variable, and the relation between intervening variable and dependent variable. All of these correlations should be significant. The relation between independent variable and dependent variable should be reduced after controlling the relation between intervening variable and dependent variable. In general, intervening regression method is used to intervening effect verification. But we can not use intervening regression method in the nominal data. In this study We try to present the method of intervening effect verification using association rule which can be apply to nominal data.
