중앙값을 이용한 관리도의 구축

이번 연구의 목적은 평균 대신 중앙값을 이용한 관리도를 제시하며 관리한계선을 결정하기 위하여 표본중앙값에 대한 정규근사식에서 극한분산에 대한 추정치를 이용하는 대신 정확한 분산의 표현식에 대한 적률의 추정치를 이용하는 절차를 제시한다. Ford 자동차회사의 자료를 이용하여 우리가 제시한 중앙값관리도를 예시하고 중앙값관리도에 대한 특징과 장단점을 기술하고 마지막으로 표본의 크기가 홀수 또는 짝수에 관계없이 표본중앙값의 근사분포는 동일하다는 점을 부록에서 보인다.주요용어 : 관리도, 순서통계량, 위치모수, 정규근사, 중앙값.

In this paper, we consider to propose a control chart which is based on a median not the mean. Because of the intractability of the distribution of the sample median, we take the asymptotic approach by estimating the variance of the sample median. For the estimate of the sample median, we consider the moments estimate method rather than the estimate of the limit form of the variance. Then we show an example to illustrate the proposed control chart and discuss some interesting features for the proposed control chart as concluding remarks. Finally we show that the asymptotic results hold with disregard to the status of sample size.
