Problem Based Learning and Assessment - A Case Study of Quality Management

산업시대에서 정보화시대로 변화하는 요즘의 상황에서 교육환경에 대한 이해와 구체적 실천에도 전반적 개혁과 변화가 필요한 것은 당연하다. 이러한 교육환경에 대한 총체적 개혁의 구체적 실천안의 하나가 바로 문제중심학습(problem-based learning)이다. 문제중심학습은 복잡한 실제 세계의 맥락 속에서 비구조화 된 문제를 제시하여 의미 있는 해결방법을 찾아내게 함으로써, 교과지식과 기술뿐만 아니라 문제해결전략을 동시에 가르치는 교육과정이며 교수전략이다.이에 본 논문에서는 문제중심학습의 소개와 함께 품질경영 교과목에의 적용사례를 보이고, 나아가 문제중심학습의 실제운용에 있어 나타나는 어려움 중의 하나인 평가의 신뢰성과 타당성에 대하여 검토해보았다.주요용어 : 문제중심학습, 성찰일지 평가, 자기평가, 지필시험.

Nowadays, we need the general improvement and change for educational environment. In this situation, a practical device is the problem-based learning. Problem-based learning is a curriculum and teaching strategy for problem solving in the real world.In this paper, we introduce problem based learning which is popularized lecture method. And we show that its an example - case study of quality management. We exclaim that problem based learning is efficient to cultivate problem solving skills.Finally, we found that reflective journal is very correlated with processing assessment. But we showed that final test and self assessment are not correlated significantly.
