The Web-based Educational Program of the Fuzzy System via the Balancing Problem of the Inverted Pendulum

본 논문은 역진자를 예로 하여 퍼지 시스템에 대한 교육용 소프트웨어(CAI)의 구현을 목적으로 한다. 수레 위에 비스듬하게 세워진 막대는 기울어진 방향으로 쓰러지려 할 것이다. 쓰러지지 않도록 세워지게 하기 위하여 퍼지 제어기를 사용하였다. 이러한 상황에 퍼지 제어기가 어떻게 유용하게 작용하는지, 퍼지 집합이 어떻게 관여하고 있는 지를 사용자가 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 시각적이고 대화식의 프로그램을 자바 애플릿으로 구현하였다.

This paper discussed about the computer aided visual education of the fuzzy control system by using a famous inverted pendulum example. A bar leaned to one side on a vehicle is willing to fall down to the side. It is a right solution that they use the fuzzy controller not for the bar to fall over but to stand up on the vehicle. This paper expressed the visual and interactive program by the java applet in order to teach users what the fuzzy controller is operating well in this case, and how the fuzzy set is connected with the process.
