일반통계에 대한 공간통계 방법의 예측성능에 관한 연구

Comparative Study on the Prediction of Geo-Statistics with General Statistics

공간통계학에서는 공간자료에 대하여, 1) 얻어진 자료로부터의 베리오그램 추정, 2) 추정된 베리오그램으로부터의 모델 적합, 3) 알려지지 않은 위치에서의 관심 있는 변수에 대한 수치 예측(Kriging) 등의 세 가지 단계에 의해서 분석이 행해진다. 공간통계학에서 다루는 자료들에 대한 분석은 자료들간에 서로 상관되어 있기 때문에 일반통계학에 의한 분석법으로서는 적절하지 못한 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 일반통계와 공간통계 방법에 대한 예측성능을 비교하기 위하여 시뮬레이션을 통한 실증적 검토를 행한다. 두 방법론의 예측성능에 대한 비교기준으로서 PRESS를 사용한다.

In geo-statistics, the analysis procedure of spatial data is as follows : 1) variogram estimating, 2) model fitting, 3) prediction(kriging). Since spatial data have spatial correlation, it has known that the general statistical methods could not appropriate to the analysis of spatial data. In this study, we compare the performance by the methods of geo-statistics with general statistics. To do this, simulation is tried and PRESS is used as a comparative criterion.
