언어네트워크 분석을 활용한 대학교양교육의 연구동향 분석

Research Trend Analysis in General Education at University Using Sementic Network Analysis

본 연구는 네트워크 분석방법(Network Analysis)을 활용하여 국내 대학교양교육 관련 연구동향을 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법은 초록에서 추출한 주제어 간의 동시출현을 기준으로 네트워크를 구성하여 주제어의 기간별 변화를 탐색하고, 의미적 연결망을 분석하는 언어네트워크 분석으로 설계하였다. 이를 위해 학술정보서비스 한국교육학술정보원(RISS), 누리미디어(DBpia), 한국학술정보(KISS)의 자료검색 사이트에서 2000년부터 2020년 동안 발간된 최종 2012편의 논문을 수집하였고 주제어를 추출·정제하고, NetMiner 프로그램으로 주제어 출현빈도, 네트워크, 중심성 분석을 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과는 첫째, 글쓰기가 가장 활발히 연구된 주제어로 도출되었고 연결중심성, 근접중심성, 매개중심성, 아이겐벡터 중심성 모두 높게 나타나 교양교육연구에서 가장 영향력 있는 연구주제였다. 둘째, 교육과정과 관련된 연구빈도가 높게 나타났고, 2013년 이후 역량에 관한 주제어가 부각되면서 시대적 변화의 요구에 따라 관련 연구들이 활발히 이루어지고 있음을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 20년 동안 사회적 환경의 변화에 따라 교양교육의 핵심주제어는 변화하였고, 자유교육(Liberal Education)과 일반교육(General Education)의 연구동향을 파악할 수 있었다. 대학교양교육 연구분야에서 네트워크 분석을 시도한 본 연구결과는 앞으로 대학 교양교육 연구를 위해 나아갈 방향을 제시하고 발전시키는데 교육적으로 의미 있는 자료를 제공해줄 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the research trends related to general education in the domestic university using network analysis. The research method was designed by Sementic Network Analysis that analyzes the semantic connection network by exploring the change of each term by constructing a network based on the simultaneous appearance among the subject words extracted from the abstract. To this end, we collected the final 2012 papers published from 2000 to 2020 at the data search sites of the Research Information Saring Service(RISS), Nuri Media (DBpia), and Korean Studies Information Service System(KISS). The subject words were extracted and refined, and the frequency, degree of connection, and centrality analysis of the subject words were conducted with the NetMiner program. As as main result was follows. First, ‘writing’ was drawn as the most actively studied key word and was showed high value in the dgree centrality, closeness centrality, betweenness centrality and Eingenvector centrality, making it the most influential research topic in general education research. Second, the frequency of research related to the curriculum was high, and since 2013, keywords related to competence were derived, and it can be seen that related studies are actively being conducted according to the demands of the times. Third, as the social environment changed over the past 20 years, the core keywords of general education changed, and it was possible to grasp the research trends of ‘Liberal Education’ and ‘General Education’. The results of this study, which attempted network analysis in the field of general education at university, could provide data to suggest and develop a direction for future general education research.
