중학교 ‘직업적 진로탐색’ 단원의 백워드 설계

Backward Design for a Unit of ‘Vocational Exploring’ in Middle Schools

본 연구의 목적은 중학교 진로와 직업 교과와 창의적 체험활동에서의 진로활동을 통합하여 자유학년제에서 사용할 수 있는 ‘직업적 진로탐색’ 단원을 백워드 모형으로 개발하는 데 있다. 수정된 백워드 개발 템플릿을 사용하여 백워드 설계 모형의 3단계의 절차를 거쳐 단원을 설계하였다. 이 연구를 통해 설계된 ‘직업적 진로탐색’ 단원은 첫째, 바라는 결과로는 학생들이 자신의 직업적 기질을 이해하고, 관심 있는 직업 세계를 탐색하여 필요한 진로 의사결정을 수행할 것이 설정되었다. 둘째, 수용가능한 증거로는 전시회에 출품한 자신의 진로 포트폴리오를 준비하는 일과 팀별 관심 직업군에 대한 웹진 창간호를 제작하는 일이 수행평가로 설계되었다. 셋째, 학습경험과 수업계획 단계에서는 직업 세계에 대한 흥미를 유도하는 활동과 수행과제를 완성하는 일, 진로장벽을 예상하고 극복방안을 모색하는 일을 포함하여 15차시의 단원을 구성하였다. 본 연구의 설계자는 수정된 백워드 모형을 활용한 단원 설계가 진정한 이해를 기반으로 하는 목표설계의 세분화를 가능케 해준 사실을 확인하였으며, 설계한 단원이 창의적 체험활동과 자유학기제 및 교과 수업과의 통합방안에 대해서 논의하였다.

The objective of the study was to develop a guidance program by backward designing which could be implemented in free-semesters. The unit title of ‘vocational exploring’ was integrated in the field of extra curriculum and elements of free-semester’s activity. Three stages of templates in the revised model of backward design were used in the study. To make a career relevant decision which was based on understanding my vocational characteristics was identified as a desired result in the unit of ‘vocational exploring’. Making a career portfolio and creating web-magazines were determined as acceptable evidence. The activities of a hook strategy, completing performance assessment, and vocational decision-making with overcoming career barriers were planned as learning experiences in the unit. The researcher confirmed that the revised model of backward design enabled the development of specific categorized objectives in the unit. Integrated form with extra curriculum and free-semester’s fields was suggested in the study.
