Case Study on Statistical Analysis in Oriental Medicine

본 연구에서는 한의학 연구에서 적절하게 이용할 수 있는 통계분석방법을 연구 개발한다. 한의학 이론에 근거하여 병기유형별로 작성된 객관식 설문 문항의 응답 결과에 대한 신뢰도를 검토하고 타당한 설문 문항을 선택하기 위하여 크론박 계수 알파를 이용한다. 선택된 문항에 대한 응답 결과를 근거로 환자의 병기유형별 점수를 산출하기 위하여 주성분분석을 이용하고, 고려된 병기유형 중에서 각 환자가 어떤 병기에서 더욱 심각한지를 상호 비교하기 위하여 병기지수를 산출한다. 그리고 환자의 응답 결과에 대한 신뢰도를 검토하기 위하여 병기지표를 제안하여 한의학의 진단 과정을 객관화시키고자 한다.

In this study, we consider the statistical analysis methods to be appropriately used in Oriental Medicine. Based on Oriental Medicine theory, we make up Questionnaire by the differentiation of syndromes and their validities are tested using Cronbach coefficient alpha. And also, principal component analysis are used in evaluating the score for the differentiation of syndromes, and in order to make a diagnosis of the condition of a patient, we compute the corrected normal scores. Then, as a result of the investigation of reliability, the diagnosis programs in Oriental Medicine are turned out to be objective.
